A complete mill consists of 4 parts:
1 – The mill, on which the arch, the hopper and the trough are placed. The millstones are 100cm, 120 rpm, and the motor, 2.2 kW, 750 rpm with soft start.
2 – The sifter, which contains the rotary sieve, and the start of the flour conveyance. The sieve is 100 cm long, 27 rpm, .55kw motor, 750 rpm.
3 – The bagging ramp manages the flexible screw and the filling of the bags. It holds 8 bags of 25kg (+/- 8hrs). The flexible screw rotates at 60 rpm.
4 – The vacuum cleaner, .75kw, which manages the vacuuming of the sifter, the conveying of the bran and, incidentally, the cleaning of the mill. It is advisable to place the vacuum cleaner outside the workspace to avoid dust accumulation.

New in 2025….. The particularity of the new models is to be reversible, the milling can go to the right or left according to the layout of your workspace. We equally have a 90 degree return to be able to place the mill-bagging in a corner of the room. It is also possible to place the mill-sifter on a 65cm platform to exit directly from the sifter to the bagging without curves and thus gain 1m80 in length.

The Mill
Millstones
The millstones are made of Sidobre granite. The square one, fixed, is 1.10m, 300kg, and the rotating round one is 1.00m, 250kg. We dress the millstones to provide a uniform grind with excellent « de-rolling » of the bran and almond. Balanced and lapped to the nearest 10th of a mm, the millstones never touch each other. This guarantees a cool grind and a long life to the stones. It’s possible to dress the millstones according to your needs. Either a gentle cut inspired by the « Astriés », or more traditional with a pitted and striated surface. We also offer the possibility of re-dressing the millstones after a certain number of years (around 100 tons) and, why not, teach you how to maintain them yourself…
Hopper and Arch
100kg capacity. Ideal for receiving the arrival of a grain silo. Made of chestnut, ash, and poplar, the woods are treated with Nature et Haromie’s natural varnish to ensure their beauty and longevity without harmful fumes. The walls of the arch are made of transparent polycarbonate for a beautiful visual effect.
Flow regulator

Simple and precise grain flow adjustments. Capacitive sensor to manage the motor stop when there is no more grain in the hopper. The mill stop is equipped with a 220V socket for a sound or light indicator (connect what you want). Magnetized parts to prevent a nut from getting lost between the millstones..

New for 2025 – Electric screw feeder for greater precision and consistency of grain flow. (optional)
Adjusting the flow rate and millstone gap
Depending on the humidity and the type of grain (more or less fatty), it is necessary to adjust the flow rate. Typically, with soft wheat, you will produce about 25-30 kg of flour per hour, for a yield of more than 80% of the wheat into flour in a single pass. It is recommended to moisten the wheat to 14-15% (normal storage of wheat in silo at 12%) in order to unroll it as much as possible and to preserve the protein base present just under the bran. The adjustment is made to the 10th of a mm by acting on the crank on the compression beam. A safety spring calibrated to 1 ton is there in case an incompressible object would enter between the millstones.
Motor and Mechanics
8-pole, 2.2 kW, three-phase, 750 rpm, the motor has a soft-start device to protect the belts. The drive is via a double V-belt. We use high-durability industrial bearings. (SKF, INA, NSK, etc.)
Control center
Powered by a 5-pole three-phase (3p+n+t). Separate sifter, suction and mill switches. Ammeter, to manage the motor resistance. Thermal circuit breaker, protects against overload. 5-pole socket for connecting the sifter. Emergency stop. 2 plugs for end of grain and end of bagging contactors. 220v « alarm » socket that lights up a light of your choice when the machine stops and auxiliary socket to connect other devices such as the screw flow regulator, a built-in brush, or whatever you want…
++++ One new feature is the temperature management of the millstones. You can adjust and view the temperature and adjust the maximum operating temperature to avoid overheating, jamming or clogging. ++++
Gallows
A crane for the lifting of the millstone is provided. This facilitates the cleaning and maintenance of the mill. Equipped with a strap winch, the crane is removable and can be placed in different locations of the mill if necessary.
The Blutter
Sieve
After sieving, the flour obtained varies depending on the mesh used. The kit includes two sieves with different mesh sizes, depending on the buyer’s choice. Meshes from 200 to 1500 microns are available. The flour passes through the sieve using a rotation mechanism and Delrin taps. These are very durable and easily replaceable. The bran is then evacuated through the end of the cylinder and will be conveyed via the vacuum to a big bag. Ideally, the vacuum unit should be placed outside the mill for dust reasons. The sieve cylinder is easily removed from the box, facilitating cleaning and maintenance.

Box
Constructed from local chestnut and poplar. The hopper is made of stainless steel and the interior is lined with melamine to facilitate flow to the screw and cleaning. The vacuum filter is tapped at each turn by a tap mounted on the seive. Adjustable feet to adjust the sifter’s tilt. Easy access to the screw and motor couplings for easy cleaning and maintenance. We can also now laser-etch your logo or sign.
Mechanics
Equipped with a 550W, 750rpm, 8-pole, three-phase motor driving the sieve and screw, the speed reduction is by belt and pulleys mounted on sealed bearings. A suction system creates a vacuum in the box to minimize heating, condensation, and dust

Bagging
The ramp can accommodate 8 bags of 85cm height (total 200kg, 7-9hrs of grinding!) Possibility of separating the small sound by adding an accessory. The ramp is equipped with a curtain to avoid dusty fumes. A safety device ensures the motors stop when the bags are full. The flexible conveying screw is made of steel and the conduits are made of HDPE. A new bag hanging system ensures better support and ease of use as well as less dusty fumes.

Vacuum
An external suction system is now added to the set. This manages the adjustable vacuum of the sifter. This vacuum reduces condensation inside the sifter and prevents dust from escaping. It helps cool the millstones. It also serves to convey the bran to a bag/filter assembly, which is recommended to be placed outside the mill to avoid dust emanating from it. And finally, this vacuum cleaner can be used to clean the mill with a 5-meter central vacuum hose. This can also be used to extract floury fumes produced by bagging behind the curtain.
